Vogue Italia 07 08: A Black Issue

So it's August and the commotion is over. Got my copy only a few days ago. Images I liked best:

Though there are about a hundred pages on editorials with black models, what about the ads? Don't ads with white women far outnumber the shoots? Tells you something about the character of the market and the industry: the real deal. See complete editorials

Two women shot by Scott Schuman and Stil in Berlin:

Colors best in their brightest. Reminds me of Ozwald Boateng.

Here's something I wrote on white supremist teenage sister singing duo Prussian Blue; racist remarks by Paris Hilton, Rosie O'Donnell, Mel Gibson, Seinfeld star Michael Richards (Kramer), and Rachel Ray; plus some racist jokes: Racial healing, published in WestEast Magazine #21: Skin, 2007.

Milla Jovovich on the cover. Yes, those band-aids come in different colors.
