Two Mondays ago was the shoot for the first lookbook of Bosquejo, my accessories line. It was for my first collection, Hardware. At the same time, my necklaces were used for the video shoot of menswear pieces by designers from the Fashion Institute of the Philippines.
Shown here are accessories from my moon series, named after the satellites of Jupiter and Saturn.
In the foreground is my yet-to-be-released (on the website at least) set, named after dragons.
Looking behind the camera of Jav Velasco, the videographer.
This is the set table a few hours into the shoot, when glitters were applied.
This amazing mesh and sequin top is by Cherry Veric. It is matched with the Arianna necklace.
I like how the raccoon eyes go with the stripes.
Beetlejuice, prison inmate, or a long-lost Addams relative?
Terence Lloyd taking a breather.
Stainless steel razors from the Furies series, named after old-world Greek deities.
Razors into thorns.
To suffer thy sins.
Remember this part when you watch the video below.
Can you guess what this is for?
A wider view of the accessories table.
Our brilliant photographer, Rxandy Capinpin.
Ryuji Shiomitsu, our equally talented stylist.
Terence wearing an Aries Lagat jumpsuit with the Metal Urchin piece.
Or is it more like ash? Leaves?
Look at the print detail at the back. It almost mimics the form of lower back muscles.
I have named these pieces after dragons (already available at Anthology, Powerplant Mall but yet to be released on the website) because their shape reminds me of snakes.
Hooded jacket by Zxander Tan.
Never thought it could look this sinister.
Worn with a necklace called Fafnir.
More Bosquejo Hardware accessories.
Here Terence dances like a madman.
Whirling and jumping in front of the camera.
Wearing a dragon necklace named Jormungandr.
Now it's time to see the pictures in edited motion.
I can't wait to see the rest of the shots for the lookbook.
Here is a teaser.
Say hi to Jessica Yang, who wears white in the second half of the shoot. Can you imagine her as a ghost?
