I’ve been up for more than two hours now. I’ve been able to prepare coffee and take taho (a Filipino breakfast/merienda staple that’s made of tofu, sweetener, and tapioca pearls) with the boyfie, who is now back in bed. That’s why I’m blogging now, waiting for him to get up again.
It must be hard living with someone who’s both a morning and night person at the same time (ie me).
But it’s really quite rare that I am able to go out and greet the morning (ie during the weekend).
Most times, ie at work, after I greet the morning, I hibernate in office airconditioning.
If I’m not mistaken, this is the first time I’ve worn this jacket in these pages. Once upon a time, it was worn by my dad. I love how different it looks from the current mode, and how light and lithe its fabric.
Jacket, Generra, vintage
T-shirt, Paradigm Shift
Espadrilles bought from Aldevinco, Davao
Expect to see more of my espadrilled feet since there’s no deterring summer.
Hopefully the rains won’t arrive too soon.
We all know the floods they bring in tow.
And the squishy soles I’ll have to leave to dry in the sun.
But that’s looking too far ahead.
For now, let’s bask in what we have.
Hopefully, soon, I'll be able to post pictures of me with my shoes off.
