Black and blue

Tempted as I am to quote Nietzsche, I won't. Because what does not kill you can also maim you, haunt your every sleeping and waking minute, and scar you for the rest of your shortened life.

Well, that's putting things under a perpetual gloom. I would actually prefer to paraphrase what has been mentioned more often: life goes on.

And much more than that: it thrives. It yearns for the light.

Sure, the sun may not always shine. And the darkness in our hearts will never really dissolve (And why would we want it to? Light and dark is just like sky and soil.).

But if we are patient enough to see through every lie – especially the ones we may not be as willing to admit, much less let go – life will find a way to fulfil itself.

And no, I do not mean to give in to every wile. Look up: you know what I mean.

What I mean by thrive is not to satisfy.

Neither is it to look for happiness, which by definition, flies.

As bruises on skin clear, so does the sky. Find in peace and emptiness the conviction to love.

Dude. Do not give up. Your writing saves us readers from this shitty pang of reality. That is a gift. We need you alive!
