Not that trends ever stopped me from resurrecting my high school pants, haha.
Am writing this on a Saturday morning, when I should have published it yesterday, on a Friday. Am up early since I slept early as well.
Was supposed to be readying for another roadtrip with friends, this time to Pampanga. But unexpected circumstances have once again redirected my plans.
On the bright side, I’ll be able to return to my daily To Do list.
Which includes quietly meditating about the mysteries of the universe – (half) kidding!
It’s time to roll up my sleeves and get back to the usual reading, writing, and designing.
Funny thing to note that when I wore this ensemble to work a few days ago, a colleague said that I looked more masculine. Must have been the haircut.
Couldn’t have been just the pleats? Has it been that long since I last wore a decent long-sleeved shirt to work?
In any case, I would take every chance I get to wear one of my favourite combinations: baggy trousers and sneakers.
The comfort of the loose fit somehow gives one the much-needed peace of mind to combat the possibly toxic stress at the office.
Heaven forbid I sleep late again then wake up early for the gym, all energized, only to slump on my desk to snore loudly! (My apologies, Naomi!)
HR would gladly tap my back and remind me of the time management classes they spent a fortune on.
Well, I’m wide awake now. And the morning is glorious.
Miraculously, I was up ahead of the group of ladies that exercised to loud club music.
Ah, Saturdays! One more day in God’s week for even more creativity.
I have waited for you for so long.
If only some people out there would be as patient.
Yes, I’m talking to you, kind “mother-in-law”.
So what’s on my list? Up with a jolt of coffee, my first thought is to get a shower and run out of the house.
It must be back to the list.
Back to building. This time inspired by an article on Rick Owens and Michèle Lamy from the Business of Fashion.
