Over the ledge
Through the chaos of my life runs through a placid river of blue. Conversely, the order of events is disrupted by a cacophony of possibility.
Many times when I climb staircases my heels miss the steps.
What flashes through my mind is a dizzying confluence of consequence. Without being morbid, things I take for granted, for a fraction of a second, suddenly become urgent.

I am always grateful for being careless, because never forgetting the feeling of losing balance has its way of reconfiguring stubborn conclusions.
Not everything is set in stone; change is fundamental.
One falls into a different feeling of vertigo or nausea every time you approach a ledge or precipice.
Every river bears a different name, Heraclitus.
